This is a surgical correction of screens 1–7 of returned V2. It is not a redesign and not a new product.

## What changed (named only)

### Screen 1 — Address start

- **Directive:** Restore Surgical v4 full-screen composition. Replace only the existing background with Mike’s Penshurst aerial. Keep fade and address-module readability. Crop only inside the existing background area.
- **Change:** Split V2 layout removed. v4 `overz.start-center` address module restored on a full-bleed canvas. Background is the supplied Penshurst aerial (JPEG of the 11 Jul 2025 PNG), cropped with `cover` at 48% / 40% inside the existing `evfull` area. v4 fade restored. Nearmap attribution kept.
- **Unchanged:** Copy, button, typography of the v4 address module. `--aerial` used by later roof canvases is not swapped.

### Screen 2 — Confirm the property

- **Directive:** Restore Surgical v4 dark blended composition. Make “Is this the right property?” unmistakably clear. Property visual upper. Question and actions at the bottom.
- **Change:** V2 white dock and raised mid-screen module removed. v4 `fullBleed` + bottom `overz` restored. Heading is “Is this the right property?” Address sits under it. Confirm and correction stay at the bottom.
- **Unchanged:** Fixture address, pin, correction path back to screen 1, no cinematic zoom.

### Screen 3 — Read the property

- **Directive:** Roof in the stable upper canvas. Restrained scan. Outline detected roof areas. Small pills/labels. Lower area briefly explains. Auto-progress to screen 4. Review pause / replay / step. No homeowner CTA merely to leave the scan.
- **Change:** Upper canvas kept. One-pass scanline. Existing outline polygons. Small pills for main roof, tile, steep pitch, skylight. Slim lower explanation. Continue button removed. Auto-progress after 2200ms. Review chrome (outside the phone) adds Pause / Replay / Step.
- **Unchanged:** Journey order. No invented countdown.

### Screen 4 — Choose roof areas

- **Directive:** Homeowner picks which detected roof areas are in the job. Outlines visible. Question module low. Primary action at the bottom. Reduce white space. “Not sure” quiet. Closer to original composition.
- **Change:** Roof stays in the upper canvas. Question and compact options sit low. Primary action at the bottom. “Not sure” is a quiet text control. Multi-select of the existing three outlined areas. Large V2 white tile stack reduced.
- **Unchanged:** The three existing outline polygons. No new detection tech.

### Screen 5 — What Roover understands

- **Directive:** Payoff after selection, not another scan. Aerial toward a blueprint-style canvas. Selected areas prominent. Concise credible summary. One transition to build Job Brief.
- **Change:** Blueprint canvas with selected outlines prominent and other areas dimmed. No scanline. Concise pill summary plus one uncertainty line. Single CTA: “Build my Job Brief”.
- **Unchanged:** Fact values already used in V2/v4. No false precision added.

### Screen 6 — Construct and prefill the Job Brief

- **Directive:** Build the finite Job Brief quickly, prefill what is known, then flow to the first missing question on screen 7. Review pause / replay.
- **Change:** V2 continue CTA removed. Prefill animation kept. Auto-flow to screen 7 after 3000ms. Review chrome Pause / Replay / Step.
- **Unchanged:** Job Brief rows, labels, and data meaning.

### Screen 7 — First necessary question

- **Directive:** No substantive redesign.
- **Change:** None. Byte-identical to returned V2.

### Screens 8–24

- **Change:** None. Presented BEATS after `BASE_BEATS.slice(0,8)` are byte-identical to returned V2. Proof: `proof/screens-8-24.md`.

## What was not done

- No desktop, backend, or production integration
- No deploy to `start.roofhero.com.au`
- V2 and Surgical v4 were not overwritten
- V3 is not called accepted, locked, final, or live
- Journey order, gates, and data meaning were not changed
