# WORK-039 V3 — screen cards 1–7

Each card sits the original directive beside what was returned. Same-viewport review: 390×844 (in-phone) and 440×956 (device frame + chrome). Open `index.html?beat=N`.

## Screen 1 · Start · `?beat=0`

**Directive:** Restore Surgical v4 full-screen composition. Replace only the existing background with Mike’s Penshurst aerial. Keep fade and address-module readability. Crop only inside the existing background area. Do not split the screen or put the image above the module.

**V2 baseline:** Split layout. Aerial in an upper band. Large white address dock below.

**v4 reference:** Full-bleed photo, dark fade, address module centred on the image.

**V3 returned:** v4 full-bleed + centred module. Penshurst aerial only in that background. Fade restored. Module copy and button match v4.

**Exceptions:** JPEG of the supplied PNG; `--aerial` not globally replaced; Nearmap chip added; v4 field used instead of V2’s live input. See `EXCEPTIONS.md` 1–4.

## Screen 2 · Locate · `?beat=1`

**Directive:** Restore Surgical v4 dark blended composition. Make “Is this the right property?” unmistakably clear. Property visual upper. Question and actions at the bottom. No large white panel. No raising buttons into the middle.

**V2 baseline:** Persistent upper roof + large white question panel. Buttons sit in that panel.

**v4 reference:** Full-bleed dark blend. Overlay locked to the bottom.

**V3 returned:** v4 full-bleed dark blend. Heading is “Is this the right property?” Address underneath. Confirm and “Not my place — change address” at the bottom.

**Exceptions:** None beyond using V2’s clearer correction label on the restored v4 overlay.

## Screen 3 · Scan · `?beat=2`

**Directive:** Roof stays in the stable upper canvas. Restrained scan, outline detected roof areas, small pills/labels. Lower area briefly explains. Auto-progress to screen 4. Review pause / replay / step. No homeowner CTA just to leave the scan.

**V2 baseline:** Upper canvas + large white dock + disabled Continue until settle. No auto-progress.

**V3 returned:** Upper canvas, one-pass scan, existing outlines, four small pills, slim explanation, auto-progress at 2200ms. Pause / Replay / Step in reviewer chrome.

**Exceptions:** Review controls are outside the phone. Pills are fixture labels. Timing is not a production load. See `EXCEPTIONS.md` 5, 10, 11.

## Screen 4 · Scope · `?beat=3`

**Directive:** Homeowner picks which detected roof areas are in the job. Outlines visible. Question module low. Primary action at the bottom. Reduce white space. “Not sure” quiet. Closer to original composition. Do not invent final detection tech.

**V2 baseline:** Large white tile stack. Single-select. “Not sure — help me choose” as a secondary button.

**v4 reference:** Tall roof, short question, options in the bottom action zone, quiet helper.

**V3 returned:** Tall roof with existing outlines. Compact options low. Multi-select. Primary at the bottom. “Not sure” quiet.

**Exceptions:** Job Brief “Roof in scope” row text is not rewritten. `selectedRoof` accepts arrays. See `EXCEPTIONS.md` 6–7.

## Screen 5 · Read · `?beat=4`

**Directive:** Payoff after selection, not another scan. Aerial toward a blueprint-style canvas. Selected areas prominent. Concise credible summary. One clear transition to build Job Brief.

**V2 baseline:** Blueprint canvas + seven source-tagged fact cards.

**V3 returned:** Blueprint canvas, selected outlines prominent, others dimmed, no scan, compact pills, one uncertainty line, “Build my Job Brief”.

**Exceptions:** Source-tag cards omitted for concision. See `EXCEPTIONS.md` 9.

## Screen 6 · Brief born · `?beat=5`

**Directive:** Build the finite Job Brief quickly, prefill what is known, then flow to the first missing question on screen 7. Review pause / replay.

**V2 baseline:** Prefill animation + Continue CTA. No auto-progress.

**v4 reference:** Prefill + `data-next-auto="3000"`.

**V3 returned:** Same brief rows and prefill. Continue removed. Auto-flow at 3000ms. Review chrome Pause / Replay / Step.

**Exceptions:** Review controls outside the phone. Timing is a fixture. See `EXCEPTIONS.md` 5, 11.

## Screen 7 · Questions · `?beat=6`

**Directive:** No substantive redesign. First missing field, question matches the gap, answer completes that part.

**V2 baseline / V3 returned:** Identical. First open field is Job. Answering writes that row and advances.
